AES is fully committed to do our part in mitigation of climate change. AES strives to implement not only energy efficient electrical systems, but also to design building systems that can give power back to the grid and meet the stringent requirements of NetZero Energy and/or the Living Building Challenge. Some of the renewable power generation systems we design are:

  • Solar Power Generation via the use of photovoltaic (PV) cells
  • Wind Power Generation

Our staff welcomes the opportunity to be involved in all stages of sustainable building design. Our team is experienced in the design of energy efficient lighting, lighting control systems, and power systems. AES has experience in coordinating with all the other project disciplines to reduce heat loading, improve daylighting, and maximizing energy efficiency.

Our team believe that in order to achieve the best sustainable design, we must consider the building as a single entity. Our design methods reflect this belief and as such, we work closely with all the project team to produce a building that is sustainable within not just the electrical system but project wide.

We also have a sustainable policy in our offices, helping reduce waste and our overall carbon footprint.
