
Met has over 30 years of experience in electrical building engineering and has practiced in BC for more than 20 years. He has extensive experience in large-scale commercial, transportation, industrial, and institutional projects.
Met emigrated to Canada in 1981 from Turkey and worked with a major consulting firm in Calgary, as well as for Stantec in 1983. In 1984, Met moved to Vancouver joining Reid Crowther for eighteen years serving in various senior capacities and in 1999 Met became a Vice-President of Reid Crowther focusing on High Tech, Transportation and Industrial projects. In 2002, he rejoined Stantec in its Vancouver office as a Senior Principal. Met is now currently one of the Principals of AES in the Vancouver office which opened in 2008.
Met specializes in large projects with a personal interest in the application of sustainable design guidelines in his projects. Met's commitment is demonstrated in his presentations to various professional organizations, and in his dedication to educating the public and professionals in Green Design.
