Sunny Ghataurah, B.Tech., LEED™ AP

Sunny is a Principal with Applied Engineering Solutions Ltd. Sunny has been in the industry since 1993. He has over 18 years of experience and is also the Managing Principal of the Vancouver office. Sunny has twelve years of experience in electrical, lighting and communication systems design. His project experience includes commercial, mixed-use, call centers, mission critical facilities, education and health facilities. Specializing in large, complex projects and highly technical sustainable projects he also has extensive background in technology and is one of the leaders in sustainable projects. He is currently working toward a P.Eng. by 2012.

Sunny also has hands-on experience as an Electrician working on projects including commercial buildings, residential complexes and light industrial plants for six years. This experience allows him to use resources effectively to perform efficient engineering practices.

Sunny’s has immense experience with sustainable designs and approaches projects on what a project levees versus just electrical. He is working on a variety of projects pursuing LEED® Platinum and Living Building Challenge and is a strong believer in behavioral change as a pre-requisite for ultimate goals in sustainability.
